“Why would a fella want a girl like her, a girl who’s merely lovely…?”

When I look at the images from this Spring performance (and dress rehearsal) of the Northern Columbia Ballet in Benton, Pennsylvania, the music from the performance starts running though my head. I love watching the final rehearsals before a show and then seeing how that translates into the real thing. Both my daughters were still doing dance at this point and I love having these photos to remember all the excitement.

Shooting a performance is a fun change from portraits and weddings.
