Monique and Jeff came all the way from Oregon to be married at the James A. Michener Art Museum in Doylestown, Bucks County, PA .
We started the day at the bride’s parents’ beautiful home, with lovely window light for hair and makeup for all the ladies – and a garden space for the first look.
The museum grounds are gorgeous, with art galleries, a sculpture garden, and a modern glass space with tons of light against the backdrop of an old stone prison wall. Because of the threat of rain, the option was to hold the ceremony under cover instead of outside, but it was going to be beautiful either way!
The ceremony was artfully performed by the sister of the bride, who kept everyone smiling. There were many unique multicultural elements to this day, and I feel very lucky to have been able to share the day and capture these moments!
Dinner by Catering By Design was truly a treat. They also provided the florals and the wedding cake! Music was provided artfully DJ Lady FX – I wish more people hired a female DJ, she was great. Gown by BHLDN.
