So, the birth didn’t quite work out to be the midwife supervised birth center affair they’d planned for, but all’s well that ends well, and my friends the very new parents were absolutely ecstatic with their new son, who they named Owen. He arrived the day before Halloween and went home as soon as possible thereafter. He is quite possibly the calmest newborn I have met. We snuck under the wire as his very first visitors! Welcome, little Owen.
